"For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people." — 1 Corinthians 14
Executive Summary
To fulfill our church mandate, this committee is establishing a model of Digital Stewardship. We are already actively building the foundation for our church’s digital future. We now seek to formalize the leadership structure and committee organization required to move these projects into full-scale operation, ensuring our records are organized and our "dissemination" of the Gospel is secure, visible, and professional.
Proposed Leadership Structure
- Director of Communications & Technology
The Director serves as the Lead Architect and strategist, overseeing the long-term vision for infrastructure, security, and asset management. - Associate Director of Communications & Technology
The Associate Director serves as the Operations Lead, coordinating daily social media dissemination, volunteer teams, and the practical implementation of technology.
Committee Organization
The committee will be organized into four specialized teams reporting to the Directors:
- IT & Infrastructure: Server maintenance, CCTV security, and network hardware.
- Digital Outreach & Promotion: Website, social media, community advertisements, and the Church Billboard.
- Media & Heritage: Social media archive extraction, Live Streaming, and file centralization.
- Creative, Narrative & Merchandising: Graphics, newsletters, and church-branded items.
Must-Do Strategic Initiatives (Current Momentum)
- File Server Finalization (The Digital Vault): Completion of the central server with custom Android and Windows applications for leadership ease of use.
- Ongoing Website Creation: Finalizing our official "Digital Front Door" with SSL/HTTPS security.
- Centralization of Church Records: Collecting all fragmented church files held on personal devices to ensure they are the permanent property of the church.
- Social Media Heritage Extraction: Securing all historical videos, photos, and posts from Facebook to preserve our digital testimony.
- Automated Member Care: Implementing automated greeting systems for anniversaries and birthdays.
- Broadcast & Security Optimization: A full reset and software upgrade of the existing church CCTV system and the procurement of professional Live Streaming Camera hardware for high-quality service broadcasts.
- Public Visibility & Promotions: Installation of a Church Billboard for service times and launching professional Advertisements to reach the local community.
- Ministry Branding & Merchandise: Establishing a system for Merchandise Sales to foster identity and support future projects.
Strategic Implementation Roadmap
Instead of a rigid calendar, our progress will be measured by these milestones.
- Milestone 1: Foundation. Finalize File Server Apps, Broadcast Camera Setup, CCTV Reset/Upgrade, and Record Collection.
- Milestone 2: Visibility. Launch Website, Church Billboard, Advertisements, and Merchandise.
- Milestone 3: Legacy. Complete Facebook Archive Extraction, Automated Greetings, and Paperless Migration.
